Collection of case studies of intervention projects and research for Buruli Ulcer control

At the past WHO Buruli Ulcer Initiative conference in March 2011, a discussion was started about experiences with different interventions for Buruli Ulcer control. The discussion showed that there is rich experience from various countries, with different interventions and feasibility studies undertaken so far. However, information is little shared and hard to access as most interventions are small-scale or pilot projects which are not publishable in peer-reviewed journals.

We as a starting point invite interested persons to share a case study of a Buruli Ulcer intervention – successful or not – by providing a short description as indicated in the Call for submission. The idea is to initiate a dialogue on the pragmatic, social and cultural dimensions of providing Buruli Ulcer care and outreach services.

If you are interested please follow the instructions in the Call for Submission and fill out the Template.
